New policy for merchandise on footpaths

posted 29 Nov 2016, 03:41 by Christel Mex
At the 28 November meeting, I seconded a successful motion to adopt a policy for the display of business merchandise on public footpaths. It means that the display of merchandise will continued to be allowed on footpath sides adjacent to streets, but removed adjacent to buildings to allow for the free-flow of pedestrians. It will be a great help to people with disabilities and others.

I also seconded a motion not to support a proposed long lunch event on Osmond Terrace during Tasting Australia as the subsidy was too high for too few participants.
